Title: New addition to Wrightbus range of products

NEW SMALL BUS TIMETABLED FOR SUMMER LAUNCH

Wrightbus has today confirmed that they will be launching a totally new small bus this
summer in what will be an important new addition to their product line up.

The new, as yet unnamed, small bus draws upon every facet of the company’s design, engineering and
manufacturing experience, which has most recently seen Wrightbus named as the preferred supplier for
Transport for London’s “New Bus for London project”.

Whilst the company remains naturally reticent about specification details, the new bus has been designed
to bring the Wrightbus brand values of technology and innovation to, what for the Ballymena-based
company will be, a welcome return to this product segment. It therefore incorporates a number of classleading
features in what is a highly weight and cost sensitive market sector.

“We have got a proven track record of bringing new and exciting concepts to market and we have also
had the benefit of starting from a clear sheet of paper on this exciting project,” said Wright Group
Managing Director Mark Nodder. He added, “Expectations of any new product bearing the Wrightbus
name will inevitably be high and we are confident that our “new baby” won’t disappoint when it makes its
public debut later on this year.

The new vehicle is currently undertaking a programme of extensive testing at Miilbrook, with a launch
event planned before the summer break. It is set to make its public debut at Euro Bus Expo in
Birmingham in November.
