Release to: Coach Journals
Date: March 2010
Title: Airporter Northern Ireland 'Coach Operator of the Year 2009-2010'

Forget the bright lights and Hollywood glitter of the Baftas, Derry company Airporter outshone even the brightest stars after cleaning up at the north's version of the transport Oscars at the weekend. Family-owned firm Airporter scooped top prize of 'Coach Operator of the Year' at the Federation of Passenger Transport's Awards Ceremony in the Galgorm Manor Hotel in Ballymena on Saturday 20th February 2010.
Like the Hollywood Oscars there was a glittering red carpet reception, champagne toasts, glamour and glitz as over 200 members of the Federation of Passenger Transport gathered to honour the very best in Northern Ireland's transport industry. And Airporter was proudly waving the flag for the northwest as they picked up their awards.
"Our staff, from the girls at reception to the drivers themselves, make up the Airporter family and this award is recognition for all their hard work and dedication to this company. For a family business to win against such excellent companies like Translink is exceptional, we are very, very proud." said Airporter Director Niall McKeever
